Senior engineering leader at the intersection of Engineering, Finance, and Compliance.

I lead the Monetization section at GitLab, responsible for the Quote-to-Cash and billing systems behind every customer transaction and a core part of the company's path to $1B+ in revenue. I manage other Engineering Managers and six globally distributed teams: Purchase, Subscription Lifecycle, Billing Engine, Monetization Platform, Observability, Monitoring & Integrations, and Compliance.

I work where Engineering meets Finance and Compliance, and I use AI daily to inform architecture decisions, automate team processes, and accelerate delivery, building these habits into my teams across many countries.

For over a year, I've also acted as PM for the Platform team, written the architectural vision to decouple our revenue infrastructure from Zuora, and contributed to company-level monetization planning alongside executive sponsors.

The results I care most about are the multiplier kind: seven promotions and five new maintainers grown across my teams, 57% of FY26 hires from underrepresented groups, and repeated recognition as Key Talent, with several performance bonuses.

Lead the Monetization section (split out of Fulfillment in August 2026), which owns CustomersDot: the systems behind purchasing, subscriptions, usage billing, and revenue compliance. Scope covers six globally distributed teams, including managing other Engineering Managers, and for over a year I also acted as PM for the Platform team.

Full-stack engineering manager leading multiple Infrastructure and Development teams at once, all fully remote and globally distributed. Built a new backend team from scratch: defined the hiring bar, interviewed, onboarded, and helped the engineers grow into senior contributors.
